Prior to launching DonRiver, Inc., in 2006, Mr. McVey spent more than seven years as a communications and technology executive at the global management and technology-consulting firm Accenture. During his tenure there, Mr. McVey distinguished himself within Accenture’s communications and high-tech sectors, focusing on streamlining operations for telecommunications carriers while transforming the carriers’ IT components.

 

Mr. McVey has extensive experience in strategic business case development, solution architecture, commercial software assessment, custom product development and designing and implementing next generation OSS and BSS solutions. He also has comprehensive industry expertise in launching MVNOs, mobile VAS strategy, mobile handset design and development, mobile money transfer and mobile remittance. He has held leadership roles at previous clients such as Qwest, Bell Canada, Comcast, BellSouth and Telstra.

 

Within DonRiver, Mr. McVey functions in both client-facing and leadership capacities. He is responsible for new client sales, business plan execution and building and growing DonRiver offshore development centers in Russia and Vietnam. He is also a telecommunications professional, consulting with clients on executive business cases and strategic development initiatives.

 

Mr. McVey received a Bachelor of Science degree in Management Information Systems from the University of Illinois (Urbana-Champaign) College of Commerce and Business Administration.
